For our preliminary exercise, we were asked to create a front cover and contents page for a college magazine, using InDesign. I had never previously used InDesign, but found it was quite like Photoshop, so I didn't find it too challenging to get the hang of. For the front cover of the magazine, I used a SLR camera to take a long shot of two students at Stanmore, in the learning centre. In the contents page there is two pages, one is an advertisement and the other has the page numbers. I used three main bold colours, white, black and blue and I used two plain fonts.
